Non-discrimination testing

Pre-hire testing of candidates is sometimes done in accordance with a policy of minimizing discrimination on various grounds - gender, age, race, culture, etc. This uses blind testing, where the candidate offers answers to standard work or competency-related questions without giving his or her name, age, nationality, gender or country of residence. 

In this way, the hiring team receives several employee questionnaires which are only focused on the candidate’s abilities. This method minimizes discrimination, racism, ageism and other biases against candidates.
