PeopleForce receives funding from Google for Startups Ukraine Support Fund

The PeopleForce team made a promise to both itself and its clients when the war against Ukraine began in February 2022. Despite everyone and everything we would stay here, we would not stop, and we could continue to develop as a company.

We kept our promise 100%.

And now, just after joining the world’s top 100 startups at Web Summit, Google for Startups Ukraine Support Fund chose PeopleForce as a cash-award winner.

This is great news for our fearless and hard working colleagues and is another bright day for all Ukrainian business. Google Ukraine Support Fund selected 25 best startups that will receive funding and mentoring. This is all designed to help develop the Ukrainian economy even as it suffers from Russian aggression. A total of 58 Ukrainian teams received funding under this initiative.

We are extremely proud to be among this select group of Ukrainian businesses and we aim to raise the profile of our country’s outstanding HR tech cluster to global recognition.

Google for Startups created the Ukraine Support Fund to support Ukrainian businesses that were forced to leave Ukraine or stay despite the risk. The fund has earmarked $5 million in assistance which will be divided among the businesses considered to be the most capable of strengthening their market areas, representing Ukraine internationally, and leading the way in post-war economic recovery.

When Google CEO Sundar Pichai personally met the representatives of Ukrainian companies in Warsaw, Poland, he said he was ‘humbled & inspired by their determination to continue despite challenges they face.’

The funding from Google for Startups will be highly beneficial for our team as it is strongly focused on integration and partnership with European companies. PeopleForce is one of the few startups in Ukraine that is engaged in monthly development and improvement of its product, deepening its value for Ukrainian and Western clients. We are currently focused on helping small and medium-sized businesses to develop the HR technology sphere, and we offer a comprehensive product to solve a wide range of problems.
