The AI reviewer is one of the AI features for performance reviews in PeopleForce. Below are the other AI tools for reviews, plus AI Companion and AI in recruiting.
It joins a review cycle as one more reviewer and answers your questions for every employee, working from their goals, 1:1s, feedback and kudos in PeopleForce, with its reasoning under each rating. People still write their own reviews and decide what’s shared.

In the review cycle
A goal closed in February rarely makes it into a review written in June, and every manager weighs the same evidence differently. The AI reviewer reads what the period left behind in PeopleForce for every employee in the cycle, and answers each question against the same instructions for all of them.
It reads the period’s records
For each person it looks at the objectives and key results that end in the review period, the kudos and completed 1:1s from that period, and all the feedback they’ve received since it began, whoever it was shared with. It reads their current KPIs too. All of it comes from PeopleForce.

In the results
The AI reviewer gives its own ratings, in its own tab and column, beside self and manager, and never changes anyone else’s review.
Its own tab and column. Its answers appear as the Agent, next to self, manager and peer reviews.
Out of the performance score. The performance score is calculated from managers’ answers only. Its ratings are counted in the competency averages on the employee’s review and in the cycle’s Excel export.
People write and share. Reviewers write their own reviews. Whoever runs the cycle decides whether its answers can reach the employee, and they reach them only once the review is shared.

It joins the cycles you add it to and answers alongside the people you’ve asked to review.
A standard for each cycle
Each cycle has its own template and instructions, so different reviews can ask different things.

Private 1:1 notes left out
Private notes, private talking points and action items, and meeting transcripts stay out of what it reads.

Answers the day reviews are created
It answers as soon as each person’s review is created, which in a manual cycle is the day you publish it. It works from what PeopleForce holds that day and doesn’t update its answers later.

Sharing, cycle by cycle
The employee sees its answers only once someone shares the review, and you choose whether its reasoning goes with them.
