Integration capabilities
Once connected, people get HR events where they already talk to each other, and HR posts to channels on a schedule instead of by hand.

Mechanics
Which events reach Teams
Data flows from PeopleForce to Microsoft Teams: personal cards the moment an event happens, channel summaries on a schedule. Decisions are made in PeopleForce, and the card in Teams updates to show the result.
| What is sent | Where in Teams | When | Data |
|---|---|---|---|
Approval requests leave requests and other approvals | PeopleForce Microsoft Teams | at submission, reminder while pending approver's direct chat | request type, leave type, dates, «View in PeopleForce» link, final status: Approved, Declined, Withdrawn |
Work notifications tasks, mentions, kudos, 1:1s, surveys, reviews | PeopleForce Microsoft Teams | at the event person's direct chat | task name, note or comment, kudos text, meeting link, survey due date, review deadline |
Announcements when the author picks messenger delivery | PeopleForce Microsoft Teams | on publish each recipient's chat | title, author, text |
Daily summary one message per channel per day | PeopleForce Microsoft Teams | on schedule selected channels | on leave today, birthdays, work anniversaries, newcomers, public holidays |
Channel posts kudos, polls and team changes | PeopleForce Microsoft Teams | at the event selected channels | kudos, polls, new hire, profile update, person left company |
Personal cards use the recipient's interface language in PeopleForce, and channel summaries use the company's default language. Private leave types appear in the summary as a working or non-working day, so the reason stays within the person's record.

Frequently asked questions
What administrators and approvers ask most often while connecting Teams and in the first weeks of using it.
Step-by-step guide in the help centerHow does an approver learn about a leave request?
The request card arrives in their direct chat in Teams with the employee's name, the leave type, the dates and a «View in PeopleForce» button that opens the request.
Can a request be approved directly in Teams?
No, the decision is made in PeopleForce, on the web or in the mobile app. The card in Teams opens the request in one click, and once the request is decided, the same card updates its status to Approved, Declined or Withdrawn, so no second message clutters the chat.
How does the team see who is out today?
The daily summary has an «On leave today» section listing people with approved leave for the current date and the leave type. Private leave types appear as a working or non-working day.
Do public holidays appear in the summary?
Yes, when the «Public holidays» section is enabled in the automation. On a holiday from the company calendar, it appears in the summary alongside the other events of the day.
Which parts of the messages can be customised?
The daily summary title is yours to set. The rest of the text is generated by PeopleForce: personal cards use each recipient's interface language, while channel summaries and posts use the company's default language.
Who receives notifications in Teams?
Everyone whose work email in PeopleForce matches their Microsoft 365 account. Everyone else keeps receiving the same notifications by email and inside PeopleForce.
Where do Teams meeting links for interviews come from?
From the company-level Outlook Calendar integration. It creates the event in the Outlook calendar and adds the Teams meeting link to the interview or 1:1 in PeopleForce. This page covers notifications and channel summaries.
How is the integration connected?
Through the PeopleForce interface, in one admin consent step with Microsoft. The public API's endpoints named «teams» cover the company's team structure in the People section.
